Cycling routes in Zuid-Holland

In this village, traditionally known for its fishing history, we have planned out a route that guides you through the dunes of Zuid Holland. You start in Katwijk at the Andreas Square where you can easily park your car. Take a short stroll through the town centre. The route will take you from Katwijk to Rijnsburg. You can cross here with the ferry to Valkenburg. *Cycle to Wassenaar with its sand dunes. The return journey to Katwijk once again takes you through the coastal dunes.

This remarkable route will guide you through the dunes to Zandvoort. The landscape then changes from dunes to woodland, green pastures and the bulb fields. The journey starts at Bungalowpark Tulp aan Zee, where you can park your car and rent bicycles for the day. As you cycle towards Zandvoort, the route will take you through the dunes from Noordwijk to Zandvoort. The route will then lead you by Aerdenhout to Vogelenzang, an area surrounded by woodland and green pastures, before returning to Noordwijkerhout.

An attractive route that takes you straight The Hague, Scheveningen and Wassenaar. Take a different look at the city in all its diversity. The Hague, the political center of the Netherlands, has so much more to offer. You can rent bicycles at The Hague City Bike for the day and cycle across the Waalsdorpervlakte, where you can visit the bell. Tip: Visit the impressive National Monument Oranjehotel. Cycle through the Clingendael Estate, passes Huis Ten Bosch, Take a break on the Malieveld and visit the beachside Pavilion transported from Scheveningen wich used to be regular stopping place for Queen Emma. You can vistit Panorama Mesdag to look at Scheveningen in a different way or visit the whole of the Netherlands in Madurodam.

You will cycle along the beautiful coastline of South Holland in the south. You come along and Loosduinen and Kijkduin via Ter Heijde to Hook of Holland where you can see seals!
You cycle back north between the dunes and the Westland, the glass region because of the many greenhouses.

You start at the Galgewater opposite the windmill in the heart of leiden.You cycle through the center of Leiden known for its cloth festivals, museums and students towards the Kagerplassen. In Oegstgeest, cycle from junction 77 to junction 55 and visit Castle Poelgeest. Breathtakingly beautiful! Then back to junction 77 and continue your route. This is a system of ponds that is used as a recreational area and as fishing grounds. You cycle through Sassenheim and Oegstgeest back to the center of Leiden. Tip; Take a pleasant cruise, or stay in this city for a while in the beautiful opportunity of Van der Valk.

Your route starts at Gestrand in Bloemendaal, a well-known centre to relaxation and enteraiment,. And takes you through Spaarnwoude to Santpoort North where you can enjoy the beautiful woodland , the dunes and bulb fields.
